Socks aren't just for feet anymore!

For many many many years, people of all ages and genres have thought about the sock as SOLE-ly (or even, at no fault of their own, *exclusively) a solution for feet extremities. BUT! In hindsight, the truth is that there is so much more to a sock than what originally met your eyes!!!

Believe it or don't believe it, but the real fact of the matter is—socks, as we know them today, have many more uses than even our own imaginations have thought of so far.

Socks on top

Dating all the way back to the 15th century, many were dodging those cold winter bullets (*brrr) by knitting larger sock like structures and affixing them to their heads to stay warm in the winter months or even years depending on where one chooses to live. Author: wikipedia

Socks on a crispy boy!

Being from Wisconsin, one can certainly appreciate the refreshing chill that you get when you crack open a crispy boy on a hot summer (or late spring) (or early fall) day. But alas, with exterior temperatures reaching into the low hundreds or the excess warmth of your own body heat in your hand, one might unsuspectingly warm the beer before having a chance to finish them or "fire them down the hatch," if you will. But now we have these multi-use socks to help your beverage dodge those heat bullets and keep your crispy boys crisp. Unless of course you are going to be "shotgunning" your beer—in which case you may feel free to skip reading this section and move on to the next section.

Socks on paws?!?!

Why should humans be the only ones to enjoy?!? With the invention of our modern textile workers today, we now have the ability to provide our fur friends and relatives with the same luxuries we too get to have for ourselves in this day and age. NOTE: The image depicted here only shows as an example socks for the anterior paws, however, our own researchers are almost fairly positive that most pet sock packages come in sets of 4 so you have socks for your pet's posterior legs as well. Socks for the whole:

Imagine, if you will, that you were to continue your socks up up up until your whole entire body was covered?! (*except, of course, your head hole for breathability's sake) What would you even get?! Well you're in luck because if you keep reading we tell you... you would get a full-body sock. But it doesn't just stop right there. Humans have been sleeping in full body socks for centuries. The uses of these full-body-sock inventions are still being discovered to this day—so be sure to buy one, or both, of them for yourselves (if you don't already have them) and try them out for yourself to discover what uses you may find when using it. Socks as connection

While usually socks often on a day-to-day basis are typically more of a solitary experience—now with this truly remarkable innovation sent to us by one of our readers they are not anymore. That's right! Now you can spend your time sharing the experience of socks not just between your feet but a much stronger bond between two parties to share.

Socks as contraception:

NSFW (*unless you're in the industry)

There is one final form that we would be remiss if we did not mention it in this entry, so we have to—that is the one that covers your unmentionable part of your body (males) with a sock. This sock has prevented countless unwanted children from being born when people didn't want them to be—as well as protecting and providing against even more unwanted illnesses, sicknesses, and other sexual transmission diseases. Do you have any that we have missed?
